To all participants,
World Congress of Ophthalmic Anesthesia (WCOA) is a congress where anesthetist, ophthalmologist, and other clinicians meet together to enable them to provide the highest level of anesthetics management during ophthalmic surgery. This congress takes place every 4 years and this 5th meeting in Indonesia follows the previous meeting in Chennai, India. WCOA started in 2004 in UK and provided a common platform for anesthesiologist, ophthalmologist and other clinicians to share their experiences to promote high standard patient care and to update themselves with the latest updates in ophthalmic anesthesia.Anesthesiologist, ophthalmologist, residents and general practitioners are all welcome to join this congress.
The 5thWorld Congress of Ophthalmic Anesthesia will be held in February 6th to 8th February 2020 and it is also held in conjunction with the 4th Jakarta Eye Center Meeting (JECIM) 2020. National and international expert speakers have confirmed to attend this congress and share their knowledge and experiences. We will be preparing symposium topics, e-poster competitions and workshops for all participants to attend. WCOA 2020 is supported by Ophthalmic Anesthesia Societies of the Worlds included British Ophthalmic Anesthesia Society, Ophthalmic Anesthesia Society, European Society of Ophthalmic Anesthesia, and Ophthalmic Forum of Indian Society of Anesthesiologist.
On the behalf of WCOA Organizing Committee, I would like to invite all anesthesiologist, ophthalmologist, and other ophthalmic medical practitioner to join this congress and I also want to encourage all participants to contribute in e poster event to share their most recent scientific knowledge known in ophthalmic anesthesia.We do hope that all participants will benefit from this congress and will bring forth new perspectives in decision making on practicing ophthalmic anesthesia.
